To meet the needs of our clients, Haskins & Associates PC was established as a Texas CPA firm to provide accounting, tax, and business advisory services to corporations, small businesses and individuals throughout the Houston area. Recognizing that each client has unique goals, we tailor our services to meet your specific needs. To better meet the needs of our clients, we have individualized services for clients in industries like Medical/Dental Accounting, Real Estate Accounting, Financial Services Accounting, Default, professional services and various consumer services. These individualized services have enabled us to address their industry specific challenges, compliance needs and standard tax practices.

James C. Haskins, CPA, PFS

Jim has over 25 years of experience in the tax, accounting and financial industry. He enjoys working with business owners who are successful and want to preserve and grow their business.

As a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist, Jim has continually completed advanced coursework to update and enhance education and knowledge. He is well versed on the specific issues and concerns facing businesses and individuals today. He has the experience, knowledge, and tools to help clients design and implement a strategic plan to meet their financial goals. Jim also holds NASD licenses 6, 7, 22, 62, and 63 as well as Texas Board of Insurance licenses. He earned his BBA degree from the University of Houston and has continued to work in the Houston area.

Jim has served on various committees and is a member of local, state and national Societies of CPA, the Better Business Bureau, and the Galleria Chamber of Commerce.

For many years Jim has enjoyed the mental and physical well-being of studying and practicing various martial arts and utilizing the ancient principles in everyday personal and work life.

Nancy H. Haskins, CPA

Nancy Haskins has more than 20 years of tax and accounting experience, including several years at one of the large national CPA firms. Nancy has enjoyed relationships with many different clients and is exceptionally proud of the many clients she has had for twenty-plus years. Services are provided to family groups with extensive operations in real estate development, and oil and gas investing.

Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston with a view to programming before switching her analytical skills to the tax and accounting profession. Nancy specializes in providing wealthy family groups assistance and advance planning for income and estate tax implications for both current and future generations.

Nancy has served on several committees with the Houston and Texas CPA Societies in organizing tax, accounting, and financial seminars for continuing education to other CPAs.

Outside of her profession, Nancy enjoys running, biking, and handcrafts. She has completed several marathons including Houston and New York.
